Darrin Carlson is the Owner & Visionary of Prospect Foundry. Carlson joined the company in 2011 as the CFO and was appointed to President in 2013. Carlson then purchased Prospect Foundry in 2014 from a private equity group, becoming the sole owner. He is responsible for developing the organization’s vision and mission, and the development of the organization’s short- and long-term strategies.
Carlson is an experienced President, CEO, and CFO with a demonstrated history of working in the manufacturing industry. He previously had a career in Public Accounting and later at ATEK Companies, where he gained deep expertise in cash flow, business planning, accounting, and financial operations.
Carlson, a native of Minnesota and the Twin Cities Metro, graduated from Minnesota State University, Mankato with a BS in Accounting.
Larry Doran joined Prospect in July of 2020 as the Vice President of Business Development and is now the President & CEO. He is responsible for managing to the defined vision and mission, implementation of the organization’s short- and long-term strategies, day-to-day operational leadership, leadership team development, business development, and change management.
Prior to Prospect, Doran spent over 20 years in manufacturing, and within various roles of leadership. He started his career with Caterpillar in Operations leadership, followed by Dematic Corporation as the Senior Manager of Business Development, and finally Director of Operations. Most recently, Doran spent 6 years as a Senior Leader with CGN Global, a Business Transformation leader.
Doran holds an MBA, MS in Supply Chain Management, and an MS in Management, Strategy and Leadership, Michigan State University.
Robert Miller Jr. joined Prospect Foundry in November of 2020 as the Vice President of Supply Chain. He is responsible for organization’s Supply Chain Management functions, which include Strategic Procurement, Master Production Scheduling, and Quoting and Estimating.
Prior to Prospect, Miller spent 20 plus years in manufacturing within various roles of Supply Chain leadership. He started his career at Nokia as a Forecasting Product Manager, followed by Category Management and then as a Procurement Leader with Aleris International. Mr. Miller held various leadership roles including Vice President of Supply Chain with CVE Technology Group where he had responsibility for $100M in annual spend, and more than 90 supply chain professional direct reports.
Miller holds a BS, Operations Management degree from Penn State University.
